Blaine Ray, inventor of TPRS came to my school and classroom and served as a guest teacher for 2 days. He taught in French and Spanish. It was a great visit and I am reminded of the importance of watching others in action.
An important take away I learned from Blaine is to get to a point where you see students break down with the language and build language around that.
Blaine is a wonderful and kind man that a has a certain charm with students and all people that he interacts with. His smile, positive exaggerations, and ability to be flexible make him a special educator.
See him at a workshop or NTPRS.
